Product Characteristics: Bluish bright red powder, appearing as a bluish red precipitate when diluted, red in color, and exhibits color change upon contact. It has a bluer hue compared to Lightfast Scarlet BBN, Lightfast Scarlet BBS, and Lightfast Deep Red BBM, and a yellower hue compared to Lithol Rubine BK. This pigment can serve as the standard red for solvent-based inks and is widely used in nitrocellulose ink systems, though it may thicken in water-based inks. In plastic coloring, it offers better lightfastness and heat resistance than Lightfast Scarlet BBN.
Applications: Mainly used for coloring plastics, inks, rubber, coatings, oil paints, colored pencil cores, and crayons.
Coatings Field: Recommended for industrial paints and powder coatings, also suitable for solvent-based coatings.
